Indies Helping Indies
The network of Indie Authors out there is pretty damn cool. I recently stumbled upon Richard Stephenson’s site Collapse which is geared toward his novel of the same title. He also just happens to offer free promotion on his site to other indie authors and he’s featuring Angst now. I was pretty amazed when I saw that he does this and so of course I sent him an email right away. And he was quick to put up my novel. So I’m pretty stoked about that. If you have something to promote or just want to check out Angst, head on over —–> here.
Okay I clicked here and got a facebook page for theegg thefish, is that where is was supposed to take me? Dont see you or your book or his book either!

Question: What is INDIE writing? I don’t quite know what writing style would fit that category…

Indie isn’t a style or genre of writing. People who have self published their works are considered Indie, a la, not mainstream and not accepted by mainstream publishing. However many Indie or self-published authors do see commercial success. We like to band together and help each other out because self publishing isn’t an easy task to say the least. First you have to write something, then you have to publish and market it. It’s pretty difficult, but if you want to get your story out there without waiting for someone to give you the green light, self pubbing is the only way. There are other reasons to self publish and lots of articles out there on why people choose it over traditional publishing methods. Thanks for asking the question!
